JNF-075 DRIVE SPEED SELECTOR
OVERVIEW
The JNF-075 board is a 3 bit digital to analog converter that allows selection of one of seven analog outputs. This board allows an analog inverter to be used with half wave converter board such as the JNF-077. This board also monitors the drives analog speed output and turns on a open collector output when the drive approaches zero speed.
CONNECTIONS
TB1-1 This terminal is hooked to the 10 volt reference on the drive. This is the drive
terminal that would hook to the high side of the reference pot.
TB1-2,3 This is the DC common terminal.
TB1-4 Hook power for the boards logic here. Apply 12 volts when jumper J1 is plugged
in, or 15-24 volts when the jumper is not present and D2 must be removed from
the board. This board requires 25ma.
TB1-5 This is an open collector digital output that indicates that the drive is stopped. It
is rated for 24 volts 50ma.
TB1-6 This is the input for the drives analog drive speed output.
TB1-7 Digital speed input, bit 3. False when open, true when grounded.
TB1-8 Digital speed input, bit 2. False when open, true when grounded.
TB1-9 Digital speed input, bit 1. False when open, true when grounded.
TB1-10 0-10 volt analog output. Hook to the drives input terminal. Max load is 10ma.
POWER DISSIPATION
Power dissipation is .6 watts.
SIZE
This board is designed to fit a 4 inch snap track. It is 2 inches wide and designed for up to 50 degrees C.
