JNF-092 ACTIVE FILTER
OVERVIEW
The JNF-092 board is an active filter designed to protect an inverters input from transients and electrical noise that is present in a Monorail system. The active filter has a tolerance of +-1%. It scales a +-24 volt command to +-10 volts.
INPUTS
RAIL, COM, POWER
The analog command signal from the rails is input on the RAIL terminal. This input is protected from transients via four different methods to insure that the inverters input is protected. COM terminals are for common termination. The COM terminal next to the RAIL terminal is to be used for the common rail connection. The POWER terminal is for +12 volt input when jumper J1 is plugged in, and for + 15-24 volts when the jumper is not present. D3 must be removed from the board for 15-24 volt operation. Each board requires 22ma. Use the COM terminal next to the POWER terminal for power common.
OUTPUTS
OUT, COM
The OUT terminal is hooked to the inverts 10 volt input and the COM terminal that is next to the OUT terminal is hooked to the inverters analog common.
POWER DISSIPATION
Power dissipation is .6 watts.
SIZE
This board is designed to fit a 4 inch snap track. It is 2 inchs wide and rated for 50 degrees C.
